The Millcreek Arts Councils Mission Statement
Increase Awareness and Appreciation of the Arts in Millcreek, Utah.
The Millcreek Arts Council is made up entirely of volunteers. These volunteer council members enjoy organizing the special events that increase community access to music and the arts. Committee meetings to organize events occur monthly, but ramp up to bi-weekly (or even weekly) as events draw near. All members of the Millcreek Arts Council contribute in many various ways, but each event depends on numerous volunteers to make them successful.
Please consider volunteering for the council – there are long-term and short-term opportunities available.

Summer Jam Concert Series
Millcreek Summer Jam Concerts are back and this year will be continuing June through August! Enjoy summer evenings, while listening to a diverse lineup of musicians as concerts return to the shaded open-air amphitheater in Canyon Rim Park.
Join the Millcreek Arts Council for melodious performances every Monday evening beginning at 7:00pm. Millcreek Summer Jam concerts are free, open to the public, and family friendly.
Utah summers can be really hot, however, because the park is located at the bottom of Parleys Canyon, there are often light breezes that almost make you forget the heat! Grab a drink and enjoy the evening.

Getting Visual at the Library
Getting Visual at the Library is a collaboration between the Millcreek Arts Council and the Millcreek Branch of the Salt Lake County Library to get local artists’ work displayed for the community. We invite an artist to display their work at the library for a calendar month.
At the beginning of the month, usually the first Friday, we have a reception for the artist with a local musician performing and light refreshments served.
