A Celebration of our GREAT SALT LAKE through Music & Art
Let’s celebrate our Great Salt Lake and what better way to celebrate than through art and music! Now is the time to remind people what a unique and amazing asset we have in our beautiful salty lake! Savor The Salt intends to open hearts and minds to the possibility of keeping our great lake thriving.
This event will feature two fabulous local bands, Rodeo Bones and The Sandman Blues Band, as well as special guests. Did you know that part of the Shoshone creation story includes the Great Salt Lake? In recognition of that sacred tradition we are honored to include elder from the Shoshone Tribe, Darren Perry in the celebration.
Mark your calendars and plan to join us October 10th on the 6th floor of Millcreek’s new City Hall. We will have live music, special guests and artists from around the valley will be selling art related to The Great Salt Lake.
Admission is free and we request you reserve a ticket so that we make sure to have enough nibbles and beverages.

A limited number of works reflecting our Great Salt Lake will be displayed and sold at this event. It will coincide with a week-long event for Design Week. Art will be auctioned and the artists will keep their asking price for work sold. Any bids above asking price will be donated to benefit our partners working to save The Great Salt Lake.
