Jean Hall will be displayed throughout the month of January. A reception will be held at
the library from 6-6:45 PM on Friday, January 3rd. We hope you will join us for an
evening of art, light refreshments and musical accompaniment by Tyler Yentsch!

Cara Jean Hall’s figurative works are highly narrative and combine realistic painting
techniques with surrealistic subject matter. They explore the human experience and have covered topics such as mental health, the plight of women, and musical performance. Her abstract nature works sample colors and compositions from nature and present them with planned composition, hard lines, basic shapes as well as happenstance, organic forms, and painterly strokes. They are typically large scale and very colorful. Her work can be found in collections at Salt Lake Community College, Salt Lake County Permanent Collection, Park City Hall, Millcreek City Hall, Daybreak, UT and Henderson, NV. She spent the first 15 years of her adult life raising a family then later received her BA from the University of Houston. She resides in Millcreek where she paints, gardens, and works in Development for KUER 90.1 fm.

Tyler Yentsch is a guitarist/singer/songwriter from the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. With an upbringing of playing the blues and performing at venues such as The Gallivan Center, Deer Valley amphitheater, and Utah State Fair Park, Tyler has a deep connection and inspiration from past Blues legends.
