The Millcreek Arts Council’s Summer Jam Concerts are back, and this year will be continuing June through August! Join the Millcreek Arts Council at the shaded open-air amphitheater in Canyon Rim Park at 3100 S 2900 E. every Monday evening beginning at 7:30pm.  Millcreek Summer Jam concerts are free, open to the public, and family friendly.

Penrose is an original modern rock band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Think Indie Blues Rock with tasty swaths of Alternative & Pop wedged into the joints. Vocalist Madison Penrose is no stranger to the microphone, having been an American Idol National Top 30 Finalist and winner of the Utah Idol competition in 2014.  Audiences are treated to a high energy and dynamic show, with the 4- piece transitioning seamlessly between a gritty blues rock attitude and energetic alt rock anthems, to lighter acoustic numbers that showcase Madisons formidable vocal range. Their style has prompted comparisons to Paramore, ZZ Ward and Pink.
