Sarah Lamon

Millcreek Library and Millcreek Art Council are excited to present an art exhibit in June by Sarah Lamon. Sarah has been creating art for over 20 years. While in high school, she’d get in trouble for doodling all over the edges of her paper. Later, Sarah decided to put the doodles to work and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Western Kentucky University. Sarah is always exploring new mediums, and is truly a mixed media artists. Sarah’s art is heavily influenced by her surroundings, a lot of that being nature. She sees inspiration in tree bark, flowers, clouds in the sky and even cracks in the sidewalk. Creating is her outlet and a place she can escape to every day. When not creating by her self, she is busy creating with her 2 year old daughter.
You can find Sarah’s art on instagram at @yodoodles
